"Gungeon Synergies are bad and do nothing to help the player"
3*laughs in riddle of lead + galactic medal of valor + "regular old guns" synergy*
For those who don't understand what's going on, here's some context:
- Riddle of Lead increases damage by 25%, as well as a bunch of other things, but the 25% damage buff is the only thing that actually matters in this scenario.
- Galactic Medal of Valor causes the player to deal 30% more damage to bosses, cuts reload times in half, and double's the player's accuracy (or rather, in the logic of Gungeon, slashes the bullet spread by half.)
- The "Regular Old Guns" Synergy causes both the Regular Shotgun and AK-47 to deal 25% less damage... but QUADRUPELS THEIR RATE OF FIRE.
This means that i shoot 4 times as fast with these weapons, with the riddle of lead pretty much negating the 25% damage decrease with it's 25% damage INCREASE, and whenever I do start shooting like 50 trillion bullets in the span of a second, I don't have to worry about wasting ammo, thanks to the halved bullet spread, and I reload lightning fast, just to add insult to injury.
oh, and I shred bosses, helped by the fact I use a mod that removes their DPS cap.
