00:06:55 NINJA BOSS (Hardest boss up til this point)
I lost my save on my run for Normal mode. I set the dip switch to normal but dont think I resetted the machine, which means this was most likely still on the default normal setting. So I dont think this was done on the easy setting. I tried resetting to test out very hard mode and this time it was a big difference, where as before I could not really notice it. This confirms the machine has to be reset for the switches to take effect.
I may combine videos later, into one. I havent finished normal yet. I was working my way back up to restore my normal checkpoint since I lost my save. I ended up playing up til this point legit on normal within about an hour. (Still not 100 percent sure it was on Normal or Easy)
Either way this was very hard. The Ninja boss alone took me 3-4 hours on normal to beat. Its possible I beat him again relatively quickly on normal since I got better at the overall game since.
On normal this is one of the hardest 2D games Ive played. The density of enemies, bullet speed and aggression can get insane. I found myself getting through this mode much faster so I assumed the difficulty setting took effect but now I dont think it did.
