The original Gunstar Heroes on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis is a cult-classic that has enjoyed almost nothing but praise since its 1993 debut. When a sequel was announced and released in 2005 for the Game Boy Advance, people questioned Treasure's decision to bring it out for a soon to become outdated handheld, seeing how the Nintendo DS had hit store shelves by the end of 2004. Sales numbers for the game were nothing to brag about as one could imagine, but that's not to say Gunstar Super Heroes (or Gunstar Future Heroes in Europe) wasn't and isn't worth playing. Just how good is it, is the real question, and which of the two is my favorite?
