“Have your forgotten?” was released by Darryl Worley during the run-up to the Iraq war it was widely viewed as a pro-war song that attacked the peace movement.

In later interviews Worley would walk this back saying the war he was referencing was the War on Terror and not the war in Iraq.

Whatever the case may be, it was incredibly successful given the subject matter and style of the song, peaking at 22 on the main US Chart and reaching number one on the Country chart on April 5th and stayed there for 7 weeks…
