A recent bit of news that was released has revealed that the elementalist is the next profession in Guild Wars 1 to be reworked.
The last time this happened, the dervish and the mesmer both changed dramatically and caused quite a large number of new builds to become popular.

This time, we've seen patch notes that intrigued us enough to give us a bunch of new ideas! So, Guildwarsbuddy, Woodenpotatoes and I had a long chat about the up coming changes to one of the original 6 professions, and we kindly bring you our speculations and (hopefully) some insight in to the future update.

Expect these changes to go live in early 2012 and be prepared to capture some elite skills that you might not have thought twice about previously!
