Gyruss is one of those unique arcade games that has five whole AY8910 chips in them, although the music itself only uses three AY8910 plus one DAC. Here, we see the waveforms generated by all three AY8910 and the DAC. The first two AY8910 are panned to the right speaker while the other is to the left, and the DAC outputs to both speaker.

The AY8910 waveforms were amplified (×6) in the oscilloscope display because they are a bit too small, but the original volume is of course unaffected.
