I tried to do various things to improve the sound quality of this marvelous SNES J-RPG, Star Ocean. The improvements should be subtle and hard to notice but here they are:

- Voice was processed through Adobe Enhance Speech, and also made just a tiny bit louder.
- The SNES' reverb effect (actually a delay effect) sounds bad when you know what to listen to, so I removed the delay effect, and added actual reverb effect. In the original, the bass guitar and timpani drums were not affected by the delay effect, so they were also carefully isolated so that the reverb effect doesn't apply to them as much
- The original sound effects were a bit noisy in my opinion, they kinda drown the wonderful orchestra BGM which is a disappointment, so I re-recorded all the sound effects and adjusted their volume to taste.
