So, not only does Hades 2 have 4 dungeons in the underworld, BUT you can now go to the surface! You have to unlock a few things first, and when you first visit the surface, you will die after just a few rooms. You have to create something that will allow you to live without this effect killing you off every time (trying to be a bit spoiler free). After creating the item, you can journey on the surface without fear of dropping dead without a fight! I WOULD like to note that in order to make the item, you WILL have to go to the surface a few times to get Moss. You will die each visit in about 3-4 rooms, so keep an eye out for Moss, you need 2 pieces.
The surface is NUTS! There are new bosses, new enemies, and new environments. The enemies all are much different than the underworld enemies, and take time again to learn their patterns and habits. The bosses were MUCH harder than the underworld bosses, so be prepared for some crazy fights. Eris is SO fast and hard to predict, I am definitely going to have to fight her a few more times before I make it past her.
Discovering that there is even more then just the 4 underworld levels has me so happy to finally being playing it! I am really excited to not just kill Chronos finally, but see what all happens in the surface, and who is the main villain there. This game definitely has a ton to offer, and it was totally worth buying so far!
