Hades Vanquish: Part 3 (Cycle 1: 7F to 14F)
I've managed to have Mana make it to the second village, Village of an Outlaw, in one piece (though this won't be the last time it will be seen in this playthrough).
Reaching a new village will automatically save your progress. But, again, if you die after you march ahead from that village, you'll start back over from the very first village of the game and will have to make your way back up again. Such is the roguelike life...
The first resident of this village reminds Mana what causes her lantern to lose its fuel: When she moves around, and when she has to gasp for air from a deep sea dive.
For a talk with the second resident in this village, Mana still can't remember anything about how she died besides being told of her cardiac arrest. How did she get that cardiac arrest? Why does she have a gun. Why did she die wearing that green dress?
Oh... and speaking of that dress, the resident also tells Mana something she really didn't want to know...

She's not wearing any panties under that dress...
At first, she didn't believe it, but it looks like she checked herself and... she was not pleased... Mana had no idea why she died while going commando. That dress is literally the only article of clothing she's wearing on her body.
When the second resident believed it to be a custom or tradition Mana had in her life, she got pissed and called him out on it. You can't blame her for it, really... Or can you?
Lastly, in this village, there seems to be an item here on a block right above where you enter, but I can't reach it yet. You have to keep upgrading Mana's running and jumping abilities in order to reach these kind of items. They're very important towards getting this game's Perfect Ending. Seems like I didn't even show it in this video, but it IS there.
----------
The second dungeon of this game is called Underground of the Abyss. The water gets a bit deeper here, and in some cases, to travel to the next floor, you have to dive down into it
More types of enemies will show up here, including skeletal fish in the water. Although they may hit Mana harder than the enemies in Hell's Water Vein, they all still die from one shot of her gun.
Nonetheless, I still suggest searching each floor for shops at this point, especially for upgrades for your Item Bag and Purse so Mana can buy and store more things!
----------
When you reach 13F, you face the second Guardian: A flying reaper! He's not much harder to beat than the previous guardian, but he is harder to just catch, as he'll teleport after he gets electrified.
Beat that reaper to gain access to 14F, which is the 3rd village: Side of Sytx Bridge. Pass that village is where things get MUCH harder, and where I unintentionally bring Mana to her first afterlife death...
