Haiku the Robot - Deathless Corrupt Mode Playthrough
0After beating corrupt mode I was curious about trying it deathless and after noting where the health boosts where I gave it a try. It ended up being significantly easier than expected when I found out the health boosts respawn after a short period of time when you lose them from taking damage. By the end game there's several easy to get health boosts close by the train spots. So even without healing you can still maintain plenty of health for bosses or exploring.
I feel like common enemies tend to be more troublesome on corrupt mode as you often need to play cautious to avoid unnecessary damage. I wandered a lot more than necessary and was unsure where to go at a few points (especially forgetting where in the Last Bunker the heat drive chip was!) but I'm relatively happy with the run.
I suppose for more of a challenge using the health boosts only once for each one might be worth trying, as it would allow for fewer mistakes.
