In the morning mists just beyond dawn, the Captain of Dunland stood tall and bleary eyed. He emptied his strained bladder of the night's ale, his own dew clinging to the tall blades of plains grass. He lead his men into Rohan in search of gold, glory and ripe women to pluck from the stem. It was those men he thought of now, as fear dropped his heart into his knotted stomach. A rumble was hanging on the air, a thunderclap building to climax.

We’re running Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms with the awe-inspiring Third Age: Total War 3.2 mod. I recommend you try it out if you haven’t already. Seriously.
This is further augmented by the Divide and Conquer v1.01 sub mod. DaC splits several factions into sub-factions, increasing diversity and allowing you to wage war against new cultures and peoples of Middle Earth!
