Thought I was done with the Half-Life 1 Alpha video series? So did I until I learned that the HL1 alpha maps worked in both Quake 1 and retail Half-Life 1!

This is pretty interesting in that it shows what was changed between Quake 1 and the HL1 alpha, such as how the shootable wall seems to have become an automatic sliding door. Interestingly, there's Quake 1-style text that appears in certain locations, such as when you try to call the elevator in C3A1.
