Here's the next video in my Half-Life 1 Alpha series. This one is showing off C3A2 and C3A2A, which are collectively called the Reactor Lab in the walkthrough included with the alpha.

This is interesting. The first map has been completely removed from the final game. It has some interesting stuff you don't see in the final game such as a break room, a locker room (meant to house hazmat suits for you to use), a shower and an elevator that warps you back to the previous level for some reason. This level also has Panthereyes. Unlike other ones, these will actually try and follow you, but will not attack.

The second one is a different and very incomplete version of the first part of the Lambda Complex. It's a lot shorter and more primitive-looking. According to the walkthrough, the puzzle was the same as the one in the final, but was stripped out because it was still being worked on at the time. Based on the level design, it seems they kept the basic idea for the final version, but made the entire area much larger. There's also a ton of poorly-placed water textures in the water.
