I was gifted The Orange Box recently on Steam, and I was making a small recording using OBS Studio as a test to see how well my computer can capture gameplay using custom settings. My computer can run this game at a high framerate even on high graphical settings, but my framerate took a hit once I started recording. Valve is a beast when it comes to hardware performance in their games. I prefer running the game at tge lowest resolution with a 4:3 aspect ratio, HDR enabled and motion blur.

I already played through the whole story of Half-Life 2 so this second playthrough was me looking around every nook and cranny to check for any hidden secrets. I wanted to get those Med-Kits that were underneath the metal shelves but I got too impatient and got crushed by them. Never mess with props unless you have the Gravity Gun...
