Happy to know HEV suit runs some sort of UNIX like operating system.
Maybe can be a custom Linux distro, some special future BSD release, a Plan 9 OS variation, or a combine (got the joke?) of them :)
But, for sure, it's not Windows.

Minerva is an excellent mod for Half-Life 2. If you like Half-Life series, you can't go wrong with this mod, it worths.
