I don't remember Xen being only 30 minutes long. I also had forgotten just how bad Interloper was. Its only saving grace is its short length, which Black Mesa did not improve.

Half-Life is fine. The gunplay hasn't aged well, and the level design occasionally is pretty rough, but it was a pretty good time. I do have to say though, Nihilanth has got to be one of the worst final bosses of all time. It's easy to get put into positions where you can't dodge projectiles, it's almost impossible to tell if you're actually damaging him, and those teleports are incredibly annoying. There's no good reason to play this over Black Mesa.
