Half-Life Mod: Team Fortress Classic

Team Fortress Classic is a remake of the classic Quake mod, TeamFortress, on the Half-Life Engine. The next project from TeamFortress Software after the release of the original TeamFortress was meant to be Team Fortress 2 on Quake II, but then they ended up joining Valve to port TeamFortress to GoldSrc as a Half-Life mod. This basically started TF2's famously long development cycle.
Like in the original, the game is a class-based teamplay shooter game, which has the original 9 (10 if counting the Civilian) character classes with their same abilities and weapons. New to TFC is teleporters which can be built by the Engineer. Guess the (unofficial) Quake 3 and 4 mods really stayed true to the original...
The game's primary mode is once again Capture the Flag, with variations of the mode. Also, the other mode involves escorting the VIP to the end. I play the stock maps that came with the game, as well as two of my favorite custom maps at the end, Open Fire and 2mesa.
Like Valve's other Half-Life mods, this game would be released on Steam as a paid title.
