Halls of Eternity · Ascendance (Full Album) [Ambient Drone]
"Ascendance" is my first album under the name 'Halls of Eternity'.
It is a work of ambient drone and a concept album about a man's death and what lies beyond.

Here's how the album is divided into tracks:
01.) Ciliospinal Collapse (00:00 - 03:16)
The moment of death. All of our protagonist's reality is wavering and collapsing.
02.) Dyspnea (03:16 - 08:07)
His body is struggling against death. The most prevalent sensation is the extreme respiratory distress and the weakness taking over his limbs.
03.) Obliviate Breathing (08:07 - 10:00)
He accepts that this has to be the end, leaving the world he knows behind. Leaving for unknown spheres. His sense of time is slowly vanishing.
04.) Distant Lamentations (10:00 - 14:13)
From far away he feels the mournful energy of his loved ones during the burial ceremony.
05.) Ascending from the Reverence (14:13 - 15:39)
He moves away from the reverence and burial ceremony and ascends. Though his memories, fears and regrets are holding him back.
06.) No Frontiers (15:39 - 19:33)
In the unknown world between life and death, there are no dimensions, no time, no shackles. This strange and yet somehow familiar kind of existence is a revelation to him.
07.) Adrift (19:33 - 21:38)
Losing his way completely in these unknown spheres, he is absolutely disoriented.
08.) Anthropic Layer (21:38 - 30:01)
On this new plane of existence, which offers absolute freedom and limitless knowledge about the Universe, life and the Beyond, he seems to find his way after all.
09.) One Home Away from Home (30:01 - 32:43)
It just feels right. As if he should have been here all along. As if his corporeal life had been an act and now he's fled from the stage in order to live his true existence.
10.) A Place to Belong (32:43 - 35:07)
There is a final destination of his journey. He knows the way.
Thank you very much for listening! :)
