0Halls of Torment is an epic new action roguelike in development. I rarely see an early access title come out as sturdy as this one, don't let the tag scare you away, because you'll be walking into a ton of content! Halls of Torment is an enjoyable, pleasantly addictive game in a retro jacket reminiscent of classics like Fallout and Diablo that'll always have you pushing forward with a healthy 'alright, just one more run' mentality. This game knows it doesn't have to reinvent the wheel, with its incredibly solid base systems, like its combat, movement and impressive, unique character variety with their own play styles, but it is not afraid to add bells and whistles. Unique, meaningful upgrades and a great variety of enemies and skill paths will keep every trip through the Halls fun and memorable, yet also satisfyingly challenging, which I personally feel these type of games oftentimes lack. Every new character you unlock will have you experimenting and getting used to new ways to play, with a new, shiny weapon to use and fresh skills to spice up their respective tools.
