So this is the piece "Rain" (Deference for Darkness) from Halo 3: ODST. The original piece used a saxophone, but it was originally suggested by the game's co-director Joe Staten to use a muted trumpet. Marty didn't quite like it that way, and I can see why. Nonetheless, this is my interpretation of what the piece would've sounded like with a muted trumpet instead of a saxophone. I tried to mimic the original as closely as I could in terms of the piano and string sound, though I obviously didn't do it as well as some others probably could.

I have this piece in lossless 24/48, so if there's interest I'll gladly upload a free download to MEGA.
