Halo Servers Shutdown, and The Death Of The Golden Age

With the classic Halo games having their servers finally turned offline, our sentimentality gets the best of us. The principle and morale of this story reminds us of the first golden age of Xbox, finally and truly over.
We've known this reality for so long, but now that its here, a strange wave of nostalgia and sadness have arrived to show us fans the door.

This server shutdown for Halo 1-3, Halo Reach, and halo ODST hurt, oddly. Seeing the Halo 3 trailers, Menus, soundtrack and midnight release has been very weird for me, as it throws me back so far, that I forget how old we're all getting.

I'll always remember the nights I spent up for hours, bonding with my brothers over "FAT KID", or some classic infection, as we drive desperately to escape on Sand-Trap in Halo 3.

We salute Xbox 360, and pay homage to the days of old.
