August 5th - August 7th for 72 Hours Halo Community Sites will be running the Halo Community Charity Marathon in support of Child's Play. There will be prizes for both participating in-game, and for donating through the sponsored donation link on GamersCharity.org . If you're interested in playing visit GamersCharity.org during the marathon and send a message to a game host who is currently online for an invitation.

CommunityGamer.com will be kicking off the Halo Community Charity Marathon with their bi-monthly Community Game Night on August 5th from 9 to 11 PM EST. By participating you will earn entries in to the in-game lottery; in addition CommunityGamer will donate $1 for every cumulative hour of game time played during Community Game Night.
