I'm thrilled that Halo Infinite's ranked matchmaking system is getting a full wipe and overhaul, because it's broken right now. Players (including myself) are ranked far too high, and are suffering from getting high quality (aka: competitive) matches with players of similar skill. You're either a god, or you're mulch. A healthy player pool, with meaningful competitive matches, will make the game more fun for everybody to enjoy.

But how exactly is this new ranking determined? And how can you, as a player, see your progression? Well, you can't. And that's the problem, as with the other Halo Infinite changes -- it's a good concept that isn't fully fleshed out. Today's video will discuss the issue.
