I saw the news today that Call of Duty would be skipping it's annual franchise drop for the first time in TWENTY YEARS. This means a few things . . .

- Call of Duty Vanguard gave Activision pause due to its poor sales
- Modern Warfare 2 can carry the franchise two years straight
- Warzone will get overhauled to contain unique tie-ins and events to keep the microtransaction / revenue stream healthy

All of these are VERY WELCOME changes . . .
