Halo Infinite (PC) Multiplayer: Part 2.1 - Some Grievances
0Well, this unexpectedly turned into an hour of talking on it's own, from 3 separate sessions.
This was mostly recorded during the Tenrai event. One week after "Beta", so my talking points are a little bit old at this point.
Some of my points still stand, while others are somewhat fixed, but I figured it's still valid to include those complaints since we had about 2-4 weeks of dealing with what I talked about.
The background footage was recorded the week of the campaign release. Which coincidentally, Big Team Battle was having connection issues.
So that's why I switched to Halo MCC after 1 match of Infinite... and why I later begrudgingly, came back to Infinite to finish my challenges a couple hours before the weekly reset.
The weekly reward was a gaudy sniper skin, but I still wanted it. I only play BTB, and that was the only game mode for me and several others, that was having connection issues.
Cooool.
I had no faith that 343 would rerun the sniper skin or just give the skin to everyone like they did during the first week with the visor, due to them resetting everyone's challenges. It wasn't on the same scale, but I still only play BTB and it affected my ability to finish challenges.
Brute forcing by constantly pressing play, did put me into plenty of matches. I thought the connection issues were even fixed at one point. They weren't.
With all that said, this should be the last time I talk so much about my issues/complaints with the Halo Infinite monetization and whatever else I talked about. It bled into the first session's ending for the campaign.
So that's why I figured I'd mention that I'll try my best to not talk much more about it, since I got everything off my mind with this hour long podcast, pretty much.
