Halo Infinite Visual Upgrade Confirmed & 120 FPS ? | Xbox Live Gold to Go Free ?
372Reports are that Microsoft will be scrapping Xbox Live Gold in time for the next gen Xbox Series X, following rumours that paid multiplayer on the Xbox family of consoles would be scrapped. This leads into interesting leaks for Halo Infinite, which also suggests free multiplayer as well as 120 FPS.
Free multiplayer would be a bold move for Microsoft, and many would expect some sort of response from Sony for the PS5.
Also, according to 343 Industries, they have taken the feedback from the Xbox Games Showcase on board and we will see improvements in graphics/visuals, or visual fidelity, as they called it, before the game launches on the XSX.
Rumours are also abound that a price reveal for both the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X is incoming, and may indeed come with the rumoured events that Sony and Microsoft are allegedly planning for next month.
Finally, reports are that Nvidia are seeking to acquire ARM, which raises several troubling questions...
