Hammer Away a was vertical shoot-em-up developed by Santos set to be released by SEGA in 1991 but was cancelled, presumably because it failed to keep pace with its competitors. The music has some heavy FM bangers intact within the prototype. It's hard to say who might have been the composer, seeing as though Santos was just transitioning to Mega Soft (Shinobi III) within SEGA at the time. "Santos" was then re-established as its own company and went on to develop a few games with awesome soundtracks by Studio Cliche (Fumito Tamayama, Shigenori Masuko) like AirGrave.
