NOTE: if you do want to use the midi in doom, you really should install virtual midisynth and get a gm1 compatible soundfont, like SGM. this is because the default GS wavetable synth only supports 32 note polyphony, and this midi has up to like 62. virtual midisynth supports 500+ note polyphony, so please, if you want to use this to the fullest in doom, install virtual midi synth; its easy.
