A pretty neat old-school fighter made with the fighter maker engine by team Volcanic Blaze, who specialize in making games that look or feel more old-school going from the 8-Bit Era, 16-Bit Era, 32-Bit Era, etc. Some of their games are free, though they have helped some developers make non-free products such as the adult doujin group, Studio S, or made doujin titles that cost a little money.

This game was modeled to be like an early 32-bit fighter and is called "Happy Battle". It's a mostly light-hearted fighter with a cast of very eccentric characters ranging from your main energetic brawler (Jutemu Monamul) to a sexy physcotic hospital figure (Shino Utsuda) to a little girl who summons demons (Zoo Rosette), and other strange characters. Each character has a decent variety of moves and various specials, some which can only be done at low health (usually the cool ones). The visuals are pretty decent and it has a good old-school vibe. The audio could've been a little better quality, but everything seems to check out okay. It's a nice game.
