Hi, fellow truckers! My name is smhungary, and I'm gladly represent you the Booster Mod Lite. Which is basically an earlier version of the famous Booster mod, with further changes.

As a lot of people, I tried everything to make Booster mod working under W7. Launcher, compatibility, virtual machine, etc, but nothing helped. The far as I can go was the first map, but every time I tried to travel to the next map, the same thing happened, the game crashed. (If it ain't crashed at the very beginning.) So I decided to try the previous version of this mod, and maybe it will work. It wasn't easy to find a working link, but luckely, I find one on a russian site. Unfortunatelly, what I didn't know is that version wasn't the original, what csotany888 shared back then, but a modified version. Edited by a guy named Buba.

Buba translated every name and description, back to russian. Which was already a disadvantage, if you can't speak the language. But that wasn't the worst thing, because Buba also changed many things in a crazy way. Like a sack of potato worth 6000, while a Dozer, which is one of the strongest vehicle in the game, only costs 3? Changes like these just made the game literally unplayable. So I needed to change things back as they was.

So what this mod offers you? Well, first of all, you can play with every vehicle, even with the exotic ones, like the robots. It also offers you some unique gadgets and weapons, like side miniguns, or dropable pillboxes. And of course, many other, noticable changes. The rockets works more realistic. Some weapons which were too powerful (like Rainmetal, or Flag) get a nerf, while others which were underpowered (like Vector, or Bumblebee) get a buff.

I also changed some weapons sound, because I never was satisfied with them, especially, with the machine guns and mortars.

The mod is fully compatible with the Steam version of this game. I tested on the latest W7 64bit version.

Note: Sometimes the game still crashes, especially when you travel from Vaterland to Librium. Or when the object container overloads, but these errors isn't the fault of the mod. It can happen, if you play with the vanilla game. The game just isn't like that loading point, for an unknown reason.
