Hardcore Mode: Donkey Kong Country 2 Part 8 (Normal Controls)
0Hardcore Mode is a new way to play video games! In each installment, I will be playing through a game under different sets of rules (or challenges) during each part of the game. In this playthrough, I am playing the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country 2 (originally for the Super Nintendo).
During Crocodile Cauldron, the following rules are in place:
1. My D-Pad buttons are mapped to XYAB and the A and B buttons are mapped to D-Pad buttons.
2. If Dixie Kong uses her ponytail twirl move AT ALL, she must kill herself.
In Krem Quay, the following rules are in place:
1. Each of my controls are mapped to their opposites (A is B, Up is Down etc).
2. Diddy Kong is not allowed to cartwheel.
In Krazy Kremland, the following rules are in place:
1. No Kong is allowed to use optional Animal Buddies.
2. No Kong is allowed to collect Coins. If a Kong collects any coins, they must immediately sell 1 Banana Coin to Wrinkly's Kong Kollege or Cranky's Store.
