There are many great SHMUPS. Some are run of the mill, offer nothing extra. Others go the extra mile with absolutely ingenius design that you will not necessarily notice or truly acknowledge onto a successive, secondary or even third playthrough! Mars Matrix is like this! You can't just shoot everything on screen, nor avoid every enemy. You actually have to use strategy to do a winning combination of cleverly taking out enemies!

Given that you do learn basic strategies, you can level up for more offensive proportionate strength, and truly take this game to the next level!

I double dog dare you to try the behemoth beast of a SHMUP that is Mars Matrix. You may be hiding under your blanket, in a closet, by the time the game is done dealing you swift bullet hell justice:)
