Harness Your Luna | Wren's Resurgence [Gameplay]
2Checking out some Wren's Resurgence gameplay (via a gifted game key), and fleeing our home, taking up the blade, and going to rescue our sister! We go through a bunch of platforming, fight some bad guys, and end up in the sewers. All in a day's work!
Thoughts: The controls feel like a mess. I'm hoping a patch comes through because it felt really off to play. Keyboard was a mess (I couldn't jump?), controller was a mess (couldn't dodge, couldn't use Luna, could only jump, wall climb, move, and attack). The dodging just being broken with controller probably made a lot of the gameplay way harder than it needed to be. Also, it seems to weirdly... store? the dodges, from when I was trying to do it on keyboard.
Also, the pause menu is just... wonky. It shouldn't full exit out as you try and go between categories, and the "Controls" section just didn't work, as I found when trying to figure out how to dodge on controller.
Finally, for as fast as gameplay tries to move, the cutscenes progress so... slowly... Also I think one sorta bugged out on me at one point. The "continue" should appear much sooner than it does, or just make it autoscroll. Also, an option for "instant" appear on the text would be highly appreciated.
