1After like half of the game's total time or so, they finally have the fish wake up and the game gets WEIRD. And by weird I mean you start to see the cracks forming. along the way there's already signs of production issues like a clearly rushed or placeholder animation, but in the fish village, it gets real wonky. Straight up some kids do the fusion dance form dragon ball z, like what? Also the library contains nothing but stock videos with some filters and whatnot applied to it, but it's all just like earth footage. They store one of them in a Lidl plastic bag, like what?
Also I had a bit of trouble summarizing things for the timestamps in the beginning because honestly, it's just more plot elements that don't lead to ideological conflict or anything. Things in this game just kind of happen and wash over the characters. Just when you think it's going to lead to something, it doesn't and either gets hand waved by the characters or they act like it was never a problem in the first place. You will see a ton of this in the final part after this one. Again, this game is all about vibing and once you try to get into the substance, you see they forgot it.
