Big Spooky Stuff - gettin' liminal in the non-swimmable pools (teddyras)
2Can you believe that? They made a game called pools and you can't swim in any of them, just wade. At least you can slide down the slides, I'll give it that. But yeah, I played some liminal horror games. First one I liked the most, don't exist might be better now after some updates, but otherwise, game's mean. The final game is like an incomplete demo or something and it didn't tickle my liminal bone too hard. I had a good time with pools, it had a good sense of familiar yet wrong that a lot of liminal games get wrong (and will just be normal environments with a light vhs filter). I thought the length was pretty good as well and had fun wandering about. Don't exist basically requires you to die and run through the repetitive mall a bunch. It's more of a roguelike I guess. I never got that far into it, honestly some of the monsters just kinda get you right away and if you don't read the tooltips or figure out what you're sensing right away, you just die and have to start over.
