Harold MacIntyre was born September 7,1948 on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. Started singing and playing guitar as a boy. In 1967 moved to Toronto, started playing music locally.
First recording in early 70′s; went on to record 5 albums. 1981 Big Country's New Artist of the Year, 1984 Country Music News Male Vocalist (female vocalist was Ann Murray). Nominated for 4 Juno's from 1981 to 1984. Harold has played with all the great acts of country music, from Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings and George Jones to all our wonderful Canadian artists like Carroll Baker, Johnny Burke and Terry Sumsion. Harold's music ranges from his Celtic ditties to warm soft love songs. Harold continues to perform and is always well received and appreciated by his many fans.
