They flew over Afghanistan for 5 years, but for the last 2 weeks they've been flying over Cyprus. Eight Hundred Naval Air Squadron are part of the Joint Force Harrier Strike Command and are spending a month training at RAF Akrotiri. One of their main tasks is working with forward air controllers on the ground, getting them ready for theatre.
