Harry Potter learns that an escaped prisoner, Sirius Black, is after him during his 3rd year at Hogwarts. Harry is concerned for his well-being, but once he arrives back to his true home, Hogwarts, he feels safe and comfortable with his friends, Ron and Hermione.

In this episode, Harry has trouble with dementors, but learns to fight back against enemies with Flipendo and Expelliarmus. Meanwhile, Hermione learns the Glacius spell (something totally made up for the game, just like Flipendo), and Ron learns Lumos Duo (another spell that is half-way made up). Poor Neville also gets bullied by a ghoul. The trio must work together to rescue the lovable lummox.

XBox has some excellent Harry Potter games. This one excels because you can play as multiple characters, something that was absent in The Chamber of Secrets. However, The Chamber of Secrets is still my favorite XBox Harry Potter game. The spell targeting and broom flying in Chamber of Secrets is something the other games are not able to match, for some reason. However, in Prizoner of Azkaban, there is more opportunity to explore the Hogwarts grounds. That is a definite plus for this game, but not enough to surpass Chamber of Secrets.

It is also important to note that this is the last game in the series that does not use the movie actors for voices. I like the way the characters do not use the likeness of the movie actors (for example, Harry actually has green eyes in this game). It gives the characters a creative uniqueness that is distinctive for these games.
