What a weird freaking game. It's over the top and super trippy. There are some poor representations that certainly overstep the line, which really shouldn't be overlooked. That aside, it's an interesting game that does some stuff I had never seen in a game from this generation. There are multiple ways through some of the puzzles which is super neat. There also is a clunky as hell combat system which you can fight and kill just about any NPC. I also don't think there are any really effects from killing NPCs, so the real approach is do you solve the puzzles or just brute force your way through the game. The NPCs are also crazy strange. They say some absolutely off the wall crazy stuff. Some of it is truly WTF and other stuff is just off putting and weird. It can be absolutely hilarious and other times outright offensive. The problem is I cannot tell whether it's for the characters in the game or just plain offensive. It does go over the top in some unpredictable ways, so I can see why people enjoy this. It really is a strange game. There also is this odd approach to figuring things out. Like you get clues as to what to do after you make in game choices and proceed with your days, so it seems like save scumming and going back is what they want you to do to be able to proceed and that is an interesting approach. The end of the game is a bit strange as well. It's a freaking weird game for sure. Most of the acting is solid for the time. It's always funny seeing 30 year olds playing teens. It gives off very strong b-movie vibes. I liked it quite a bit, but some of the material is probably not so PC today. Enjoy my blind playthrough.
