SCP, SCP Foundation, or Secure, Contain, Protect, is a collaborative writing project that has been around for many years but people, perhaps in recent years or in passing, have the notion that it has declined or at least decreased in its quality. The question I'm asking is if that is true.

Did it have a point where it declined? Was it ever good in the first place? Join me as I go entry by entry on the original site and sift through every SCP, except rewrites, in hopes to find an answer.
