Hatching a Shiny Honedge ~ Masuda Method
0The Masuda method is when you take a foreign pokemon and couple it with one of your own region's pokemon - or another foreign pokemon - and you breed them together! The odds are a lot higher to hatch a shiny this way. :)
In my case, I used a Ditto that I caught in my game and a German Honedge that the original trainer, whose OT is Sven, named Gramokles. (If you are watching this Sven, your honedge made a pretty baby! :D) It only took about 30ish eggs, so I was really lucky.
Wonder Trade is really amazing, I was always too shy to go on forums and ask others for their foreign dittos, so I'm really glad this was implemented. :3
