Many thanks to Igoreso the creator of the fps mod for hatred who was kind enough to update his mod in order to solve aiming issue for VR when the game is injected with UEVR.
Aiming works spot on now not only with flametower but with bullets and throwables too, It's still not easy to adjust the weapon to a 'natural hand position' of holding a gun, so beware that you might have to hold your controller less comfortable for your hand to have the weapon placed in front of you.
