There is a fine line when making a demo, don't make it too long, and don't make it too short - dont give away too much, and also don't be a dick.

This is everything you should not do - well it's long that is for sure, and let me tell you why you rack up so much game time in a demo. Because you have no task/quest list, you have no freaking idea where you ought to go, and only solution you have is to repeat trying to open doors, and touch everything. i mean i am used to games where you have to touch everything, so I just did it on autopilot when the game started, and i found a key in a wheelchair... well hooray there is like 50000 wheelchairs in this game, and desks, and so forth. Also you have to remember what door it was in what hallway that said something "special" - and there is inventory management too, i swear these things combined makes it a game I will never play! To have to dump something that you then have to backtrack for? no thank you. And also, the freaking running down halls.
It's not a secret that I did not finish this demo, not because of lack of engagement, but because it was either uninstall or kick a helpless kitten. Seriously that running sequence in the end is absolutely needless and furiating, it's not fun gameplay for me, maybe for some - but "some" aren't typing this, I am. I don't mind running from stuff in games, also I don't even mind QTE, but what i do mind is when it goes on and on and on... and on... and you have no fucking clue what you are doing and it's purely trial and error an inch at the time. No way. fuck that.

Don't take a very drawn out puzzle adventure game, and suddenly make me play freaking house of the dead 1997 version. BALANCE my dudes, balance.
