So this little game is a interactive (very) about depression and solitude, and as the game progresses you start to wonder if any of this is real, that dog - where did that come from? is there a dog? I don't know man. But what I do know is that I see this as a person who was left by a very important other person, and as a result looses their way and isolates to a point where the outside is scary and deadly. they make routines but they also become stale and meaningles, until something (the dog) keeps them from reaching out, and retreating back into their "space" to continue their meaningless and lonely existence. The dog could be a different side of the person, the playful but hurt and scared part, and therefore it is also the part that changes and gets forceful when the main part/character tries to leave their little bubble of "safe" repetition.
But untimately they don't reach out or get help.
If you know anyone suffering from social anxiety, give them a call, send them a postcard. they do want to hear from you, and they do want to be included - just not in the same way as most. show them they matter.
