Haunted Mines Minion Paths With Timings | Heroes Of The Storm
Haunted mines is a pretty simple map to analyze for paths and timings. It’s your basic 2 lane arena with 1 knight camp and 2 ogre camps. Combine that with collecting skulls to get your golem, and each team has 4 sources of minion damage.
You can see whether your golem is going to be top or bottom just by looking in the two circles for his bones. If he spawns top, then the ogre camp nearest to your core is going to follow the top lane, with the knights and far ogre camp going bottom. If the golem spawns bottom, then the reverse is true with the close ogres going bottom, knight and far ogres going top.
Timings are as follows, calculated from multiple replays.
Creeps : 26 seconds from spawn to mid-map. By mid-map I mean the point where the creeps meet for the first engagement, as of course where they’re fighting changes throughout the game. If they’re walking unopposed, it will take them 52 seconds from spawn until they reach the other team core.
Near Ogres : The ogres nearest to your core will take 20 seconds to reach the first enemy tower. It’s somewhere around 10 seconds from the first tower to the second set, but that timing is much more rare and not worth worrying about due to obstacles along the way.
Knights : The knights will take 10 seconds to reach the first enemy tower.
Far Ogres : The far ogres will skip the first tower and start right on the second set. It will take them about 5 seconds from capture until they start flinging boulders.
Golem : The golem takes precisely 60 seconds from the moment the last skull in the mines is collected until it reaches the first enemy tower. It ignores all minions and heroes along the way, but can be slowed by some hero abilities but I don’t have a list just yet.
