The end of retail video games is nigh my fine bretheren. The likes of Best Buy, Future Shop, Gamestop, Walmart, Game, HMV, Target, Amazon and EB Games selling boxed video games will soon be at an end. Or more correctly, digital video games are eating their retail counterparts up alive despite attempts by big old retail chains flexing the last bit of muscle they have by forcing preorder bonuses on the poor down-trodden consumer.
