In this video I talk about how to refocus on your art goals and aspirations going forward!
Do you want to really focus on art and drawing this year? It's important to have a plan, and to make sure that it's an artist friendly plan. One of the biggest challenges artists face is that we are always wanting to explore new and different horizons. And it can be hard to know if we are getting better... After all we are often good at self criticism… but not so good at level headed analysis.
The key things to focus on are to have a good level understanding of where you are currently at. Next to have goals and aspirations that can actually be defined in visual terms and that you can go back to in the future. And lastly you need to be able to actually define goals and make a plan that is measurable. Think about defining quantity of work and time vs quality... (Set goals surrounding how much you are going to do... rather than requiring you to get mad skillz or bust)
