Haven - Part 2 - What is this rust?
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Haven on the Xbox series X.
We continue looking for ways to help fix the nest, whilst looking we come across a pink substance on the floor. We call this substance rust, it seems that using flow on the rust removes it from the area. There are also large chunks of rust that we are able to destroy with our flow, this gives us rust crystals that we can take home with us.
The rust also covers items such as food and flow bridges so we need to uncover all the sections we nee. Once we remove the rush some flow strains also appear allowing us to collect more flow. We spend some time cleaning our the first island and we are able to move round more freely. Then we use another flow bridge to get to a new area, this area is also filled with rust and new creatures.
It looks like there are some buildings on the planet and are not in use anymore. Did people used to live here in the past? and if not what stopped them?
Whilst exploring around we come across a boba nut that contains 75% fat, this is so different from the other foods we have found. The boba nut will add so much flavour to our cooking. We finally made our way to the nest but it is so damaged from the earthquake we have some work to put it back together. Kay speaks about how lucky they where to actually escape from the Apiary, no one has ever done it before. They also mention a match maker system on the Apiary I wonder if they was why they decided to leave.
We spend the next morning cleaning up the nest and making it back into a home. we cook some food and have a chat on the couch. Yu asks about Kay's mate from the match maker and wants to know what she looked like. Kay was already in love with Yu at this point so never really though much about it. This has got to be a reason for them leavening the Apiary, if they where not allowed to be together because they have been picked out for someone else.
Finally we head outside to try and lift the nest but unfortunately it does not work, we are stuck in broken ship. Kay comes up with an idea of using the flow and rust to help make the nest at least straight again. We have to head out to find some more rust.
