Haven - Part 3 - Corrupted enemies
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Haven on the Xbox series X.
We set out again to look for more rust to help life the nest out of the hole it is now stuck in. Whilst collecting rust we come across some creatures that have been infected by the rust. We then encounter our first fight, we have to weaken them and they we are able to pacify the creature and bring they back to there normal self. The animals also attack back and have different weaknesses, we have to test our fighting styles to see what is most effective.
We manage to collect enough rust to try and life the nest again. We do some more exploring and find some new islands. Whilst out we find some more enemies that we have to fight. We also find camps in some areas, these allow us to sit, rest, heal and eat. At these camps we get unique interactions between Kay and Yu.
Whistle at the camp we are able to learn more about the characters backgrounds and there relationship. We learn that Yu used to have a guitar, she wasn't the best at playing but its something she misses. I was hard for them to give up everything for each other. Kay and Yu are able to relax and have some laughs at these camps and even come up with a band name for the first band on source.
Whilst looking around we come across a new enemy this creature is huge compared to the others and looks like it will do more damage if it hits us. In this fight we learn that Kay and Yu can attack together if they use the same move. This makes there moves more powerful but also leaves them vulnerable.
After defeating the creature and reverting it back to its normal self we are able to find some equipment that we can connect to our boots. This equipment allows us to use a map so we can find our way back to the nest more easily.
Once we get back to the nest we find a pre marked location on the tracking device, we will have to check out this area. We also find that Oink has made its way to come stay with us. With the power of rust we are able to move the nest out of the hole. We have a lot of work to do to fix the nest, this might take us some time.
