Having a 2 year old running in your living room is considered "a situational disability"
This is a long video this time where we break some things down.
At first I thought this was some kind of joke, but it turns out this person by the name of Alanah Pearce (who's pansexual apparently. Which is kind of sus imo) made probably one of the stupidest statements by basing her opinions on a corporate guide known as Microsoft Inclusive Microsoft Design. Which even though it has some useful info completely missed the mark in other areas.
According to Alanah having a 2 year old kid running around in the living room is considered "a situational disability". And being a bartender is considered a "situational disability" instead of being a respected profession.
On what kind of planet am I living where raising a child into adulthood and bartending are considered "situational disabilities"?
I am not saying she is not making any valid points. But I find copying your opinions from a corporate guide created by Microsoft and spinning it like some kind of encompassing truth for every disabled individual kind of dishonest. And shows a serious lack of critical thinking and capacity of individual thought (ex IGN is what sums it up).
Because a lot of things mentioned in the guide are impairments. Not disabilities.
